The written word was my first artistic passion, and Dr. Seuss was one of my earliest favorite artists. I'm not above making a Play Doh sculpture now and then, either.
You can most likely find me on a school supplies aisle in late-August, waxing philosophical about how new Crayolas are like kindergarteners and getting excited about Pink Pearl erasers.
I do not have any moral issues with depicting suggestive or seductive themes in my work. I will, however, draw the line (no pun intended) at obscene work simply for the sake of obscenity. When in doubt, I just ask myself, "What would Bettie Page do?"
